Ashoka University is one of the top private universities which is situated in Sonepat town of Haryana near Delhi NCR. Ashoka University was established in the year 2014 and along with it, it is approved by UGC which is University Grants Commission of India and NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council. 1. For undergraduate programs, a student must have passed 12th grade or its equivalent from any recognized board across the globe with minimum 60-75% aggregate depending on the course he/she has applied for.
2. For admission in Ph.D. and postgraduate programs must have the relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree with minimum 55 - 60% marks from any recognized university.
3. Certain programs may require the students to write entrance tests, interviews, statement of purpose, recommendations in addition to other items.
4. Exam such as IELTS/TOEFL scores for foreign students applying for admission into any institution.
5. These master’s and Ph.D programs may have specific work experience requirements as a condition for admission.
6. Extra curricular also forms part of the evaluation criteria when admitting students and career successes are also considered.
Ashoka University also has a strong history of placing students in prominent corporate firms in all fields. Ashoka, the leading B-school of South India has had past recruiters from some of the leading firms including McKinsey, BCG, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Flipkart. During campus placement, 2023, the highest salary package was grabbed by a global bank offering INR 1.2 crore per annum. The median salary is at a good of INR 16 lakhs per annum. According to the report, for eligible undergraduate candidates, more than 60% of the batches had placements through campus recruitment drives or conversions from internships.
