Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya is one of the state universities which situated in Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh. NAAC Grade ‘A’ accredited university with a specific intention of the propagation of Hindi language, literature and culture. They include first degrees, master and doctoral degrees in humanities, sciences; education; commerce and law streams among others. In the 2023 NIRF rankings, the university was categorized under 101-150 Universities.
Provides many courses for bachelors and masters in different fields of arts, commerce, science, law and education streams. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For undergraduate programs, the student’s 12th-grade performance in the relevant stream must have been good enough, with pass marks ranging from 45-50% depending on the program.
2. For post graduate programs, the students have to pass the respective bachelors’ degree with minimum 45-50% marks obtained depending on the program.
3. For MPhil and PhD, a relevant master’s degree with a minimum of 55% in aggregate and entrance test is required.
4. And for the award of diploma certificates and certificates of the university, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for most of the cases.
5. Reduction in the least passing standards are also offered to the reserved category students as per the government policies.
6. University also accepts candidates that qualify other similar examinations conducted by recognized board/universities.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, the placement cell helps the students gain employment with reputed firms. Some of the main employers are Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Accenture and others. At 70%+ of students placed in placement drive for the academic year 2023 the statistics have improved compared to previous years. The maximum salary offered was of rupees eighteen lakhs per annum from American Express and the median salary was offered for rupees six lakh twenty thousand per annum. Hence, enabled with better career prospects and training to employment, the university is set to achieve 100 percent placements in the near future as well.
