The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior (ABVIIITM Gwalior) is one of the premier institution in central India that provide various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the stream of Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical engineering, Civil engineering and Management. The eligibility criteria for the BTech program Computer Science and Engineering are as follows: For general category students: must have passed class 12th with minimum 60% marks in PCM subjects. The admission to the university can only be taken after clearing examination such as JEE Main, MP PET, or ABVIIITM Gwalior’s own entrance test. MTech programme in Thermal Engineering includes a B.E/B.Tech degree as one of the essential admission criteria.It would be preferable if the candidate possesses a tech degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering/Industrial Engineering with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks. Candidates possessing the GATE score have some extra edge over other candidates in the process of selection.
The major courses of streams of ABVIIITM Gwalior in the academic year 2024 includes BTech in CSE/IT/ECE /ME , MTech in CSE/IT/Thermal/ CAD/CAM/Power Electronics and MCA, MBA and Integrated Programmes like Dual Degree of BTech-MTech. The applications can be made between January to May 2024 by clearing entrance exams like JEE Main, GATE, CAT, XAT, MP PET, ABVIIITM Gwalior entrance test and others For admissions in the B Tech, M Tech and MBA courses, there are several steps to be followed which includes online registration, appearing for the relevant entrance exams, counselling for seat allotment and document verification.
