The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior (ABVIIITM) is one of the most premier Institute of India under Ministry of Education, Govt of India founded in the year 1998. The institute has been given Institute of National Importance by the Government of India and is popularly known as ABVIIITM Gwalior. NAAC has also given it an ‘A’ Grade and according to the NIRF India Ranking 2023 it occupies rank 65 in the list of engineering colleges.
ABVIIITM Gwalior is recognized for offering several programs in the disciplines of engineering, computer application, management, and sciences in Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Doctorate level. The general BTech programs offered are in fields of Computer, Electronics, Mechanical and Civil Engineering among other fields. University has the rights of admissions through national level entrance tests like JEE Mains etc. The last date for applying for the b tech admissions for the session 2024-2024 is march 2024. ABVIIITM also has MTech and MBA courses where the admissions are based on the GATE/CAT/CMAT scores. 1. For admittance to BTech programs, the candidates should have completed their 10+2 examinations with physics, chemistry, and mathematics subjects and should obtain an average of 60% marks. The candidates should also possess the valid score of JEE Main.
2. The eligibility criteria for MTech programs include a valid BTech/BE degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any other relevant branch of engineering with an aggregate of 60% of marks. Candidates who appeared for GATE exam will be given preference.
3. For MBA program, students must possess 50% marks in their Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognize university. Thus, students are required to give admission tests such as CAT/MAT/GMAT depending upon which the final list of merit is prepared.
4. The candidate who wants to pursue MCA program should have completed the bachelor’s degree in any stream with mathematics as one of the subjects and with not less than 50% marks of the total marks. They also have to meet the entry requirements of passing the NIMCET endrance examination.
5. For PhD, the candidate must have a master’s degree in relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, management and others with 55 % marks. Students are selected based on the qualifying examinations, the written tests, and the interviews.
