Baba Farid University of Health Sciences also known as BFUHS is the medical university situated at Faridkot city in Punjab. It was founded in 1998 and has developed as one of the most prestigious medical colleges in North India. In this case, BFUHS is recognized by the Medical Council of India as well as the Dental Council of India. It has been awarded NAAC accreditation Grade ‘A’ with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.62 on a scale of 4. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. The candidate must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination with recognized boards in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English. In these subjects, the candidate should have scored at least 50% aggregate marks to be considered for the post.
2. The admission requirement for BDS is putting into consideration candidates must be 17 years at the 31st December of the year of admission. 3. The candidate should have appeared and passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) as regulated by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
4. As for admission, it is required for in-service candidates to produce a no objection certificate from the employer. Any person employed in any government department/organization must produce relieving certificate from their employer before completion of course in case they are selected.
5. All the candidates who are from Non Residential Indian /Foreign Nationals have to produce an equivalency certificate for their qualification from Association of Indian Universities at New Delhi.
6. The candidate should be medically fit for him/her to undergo the rigors of the job as described above. Medical fitness certificate must be taken from a competent medical officer.
