BSDU is a skill development university, which was set up in 2020 under the Rajasthan Private Universities Act of 2019. It is recognized by NAAC with Grade A+ accreditation and is approved by UGC & AICTE. BSDU has ranked among the top private university for skill development in India as per NIRF Ranking 2023. This is evident in the emphasis it places on preparing students for the job market by offering marketable skills.
BSDU provides Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in various fields of Engineering, Management, Design, Science, Humanities, and contemporizing areas. The programmes include BTech, MBA, MCA, BDes, BA and Intensive, dual degree programme. The semester examinations for the students are conducted in the months of November and April only. They enroll kids in February and the academic year starts in July. For admissions the candidates have to pass through the national level tests such as JEE Main, CAT, NID DAT or the BSDU can conduct it’s own test of aptitude and interview.

1. As per the eligibility criteria, the candidates should have completed their 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from any recognized University.
2. There is no bar in terms of admission and a candidate can apply at any age. No age limit applies here meaning that both young and old can apply.
3. Candidates with diploma and certificate programs should have passed 10th standard from any recognized School board.
4. The requirements of the admission procedure for the lateral entry to the diploma programs. The candidate should have passed the ITI or the 10+2 vocational course in the relevant branch.
5. To qualify, the candidates must have taken a qualifying examination to be presented later and the candidates who completed their qualifying examination can also apply provisionally.
6. The government rules in order to qualify and give relaxation in minimum eligibility criteria would be followed to the reserved category candidates.
Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU) has a great placement record of students who pursue their graduation from this esteemed university. In the recently concluded placement drive of 2023, more than 85% of the eligible MBA students got placed in top organizations. The maximum salary package provided in the campus recruitment was of Rs 18 lakh per annum by Microsoft. Others key recruiters were – Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture. The overall salary package offered through out branches was to an average of Rs, 6.5 Lacs per annum. Most of the placements were from computer science, information technology, electronics, and communication engineering discipline.
