Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya is one of the state universities in India particularly in Lucknow city of the state Uttar Pradesh. Situated in Patna Bihar, it is UGC approved University and recognized by the Government of India. The NAAC has given the university an accreditation of grade ‘A’ with a score of 3.01. NIRF university ranking in 2023, it stands in the 101-150 band in terms of overall universities ranking in India.
It conducts undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in stream such as Indian Classical Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Yoga, Indian Philosophy, and Indology including Sanskrit literature & Linguistics. Some of the famous courses are namely BA Vocal/Instrumental Music, BPA Kathak/Bharatnatyam Dance, M.Phil in Sitar/Tabla, M.A Indian Aesthetics, and Ph.D in such areas as Classical Dance and Hindustani Music.

1. For undergraduate degree, the candidate must be a 10+2 pass or equivalent examination passed from any acknowledged board with minimum 50 % marks.
2. For admission in postgraduate program, original and attested copy of the following documents are required: relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks.
3. For MPhil, postgraduate in relevant subject with fifty five percent marks from any recognized university.
4. PhD, Master’s degree in relevant subject with minimum 55% marks and qualified in written test conducted by the university.
5. For diploma and Certificate course, 10 plus 2 passed or any equivalent qualification as per the course from any recognized board.
6. The discretion and flexibility in relaxation of eligibility standards allowed under government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya has a moderate placement records as it admits only a limited number of students. The percentage ratio of students placed last year is about 60% for the concerned students only. Some of the prestigious recruiters that have offered placements include Genpact which placed 18 students with an average salary of Rs. 2.4 lakhs per annum. Tata’s Computer Services Limited selected 12 students with the highest package of Rs 3.36 lakhs per annum. Some of the companies that recruit our students include Wipro, Infosys, Cease fire, and Give India Foundation. The median salary offered at branches is roughly about Rs 2 lakhs per year in terms of the salary package.
