Bihar Agricultural University is one of the premier agricultural universities established in the Sabour, Bhagalpur of Bihar. It consists of Bachelor and Master programs in different fields of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, Home Science, Basic Sciences, Agricultural Business Management. Generally, the admission requirements for most of the undergraduate programs include passing of 10+2 exams with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board. Accepted exams are Intermediate or Central Board of Secondary Education [CBSE] or any state board.
The university currently has over 5000 students and 300 faculty members, 9 colleges and 7 streams like Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and many more. Some of the major courses that it has are B.Sc Agriculture, B.Tech Agriculture Engineering, M.Sc Agronomy, M.Sc Horticulture, MBA Agribusiness Management. The admission process starts in May every year. Applicants have to submit online applications on the recognized websites and have to take entrance tests such as ICAR AIEEA, BAU Entrance Exam.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Photo identity proof like Aadhaar card, voter card, driving license to match with the candidate’s identity and particulars.
2. Self-attested copy of class 10th certificate and mark sheet issued by the board necessary to confirm date of birth and overall academic performance in high school.
3. certificate and mark sheet of the Class 12th or intermediate examination to see the eligibilities and subjects covered by the candidate.
4. Transcripts, degree certificate and mark sheets If the candidate is applying for postgraduate or the PhD program. These define the qualification for higher education.
5. The photo copy of SC/ST/OBC certificate or any other certificates which may be required to prove the candidate’s eligibility under reserved categories.
6. Other document like residence proof, medical certificate, income proof etc are required as per the admission notification.

3. When the application is approved, sit for the written test that will cover research scrutiny and subject expertise.
4. From any of these qualifications, candidates are invited for interview and presentation before a research committee.
5. Selects the final merit list by considering the written test and the interview conducted on the candidates.
6. They are offered provisional admission, assigned supervisors and can commence doctoral studies in accordance with University regulations once all the enrollment procedures have been completed on candidates.

1. You can apply online or offline by submission of the required documents like the 10 th and 12 th marksheets before the last date.

3. Go to the counselling as per the rank and submit the fees for the choice of branch and college.

6. They arrive at the orientation and enrollment and start attending classes for the 4 years B.Tech degree program.
