Central University of Himachal Pradesh or CUHP is a central university of the country and is situated in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India. Founded in the year 2009, CUHP is a UGC recognized university and has NAAC accreditation of B++ grade. According to the NIRF ranking of 2023, CUHP is placed in the rank of 101-150 overall and out-looked 57 universities.
CUHP provides different Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Ph.D programmes in Science, Humanity, Social Science,Technology, Education and others. They include B.Sc, B.A, B.ED, M.A, M.Sc, M.COM, M.ED, B.Tech, M.C.A and integrated courses BCA-MCA, etc. The admission process begins in March every year while examinations are conducted at the end of both semesters, normally in the months of November and April respectively. Central University of Himachal Pradesh Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For this job the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with more than 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate from a recognized board.
2. For BTech programs, candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics as separate subjects. For other programs, should have passed in 10+2 relevant subjects based on the course of the program.
3. For the master’s programs, candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree of the recognized university in the respective discipline with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe).

5. However, there may be certain additional academic requirements such as a valid scores in entrance exam like CUCET, GATE, etc., or experience etc., depending upon the programme and university policy.
6. Candidates belonging to the reserved category SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc. shall be allowed such exemptions as per GOI norms in regard to eligibility.
