Centurion University of Technology and Management – Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh is a private university which provides number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, management, pharmacy, agriculture stream etc. The admission criteria may differ subject to course choices. For the B Tech, the candidates who have passed class 12th and have mathematics, physics and chemistry as subjects their percentage should be 50% or more. The following tests are considered as qualifying tests, JEE Main, AP-EAMCET, CAT, GATE. For BBA and MBA, the candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with minimum 50 percent marks. The CAT, MAT, XAT and the ATMA are the accepted tests. BPharm course eligibility is to obtain minimum 50% marks in Class 12th with major subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. Accepted exam is AP-EAMCET. BSc Agriculture requires the candidate to clear their Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology subjects with minimum 50% aggregate percentage. As for MSc, candidates need a relevant bachelor degree, but for MPh, candidates must get a medical degree.
The University is imparting education under different faculties and courses including BTech CSE, CE, EEE, ECE, Mechanical, BBA, MBA, BPharm, MPharm, BSc Agriculture, Biotech Microbiology, MSc Biotech Microbiology, MCA, MA English, and various postgraduate diplomas. Important exam dates for 2024 admissions are - JEE Main Exam: January and April 2024, AP-EAMCET in May 2024, CAT in November 2024. The University admission process includes registration for the program and submitting an application, development of the merit list, admission counseling, document verification and making the fee payment. Admission process is followed by the counseling and it is based on the entrance exams conducted at the national / state level. The admission process in the University and colleges involves submitting applications in the months of March-April 2024 for the academic session 2024-25 starting from August 2024.

The link to cater the online application is mentioned at the home page of the official website www.cutm.ac.in. On the homepage, there is a menu on the top where you can find the ‘Admissions’ tab, after clicking it, you will see the list of offered courses. To apply for the online course, one should complete the application form and provide some documents. Application fee payment can be made through credit/debit card or net banking etc., while submitting the application after the fee payment an application number will be issued which will help the candidate to track his/her application.
For the offline mode, the candidate has to collect the admission brochure and the application form through the university by depositing the required amount. Applicants are required to fill the application form, enclosing the attested copies of the documents along with the application form with demand draft and send it to the address mentioned below before the last date. Of them, the Graduation Score, JEE Mains/OJEE/GAT and the Personal Interview are the major selection criteria followed for the admission process. Before confirmation of an admission, the authenticity of the documents provided is also checked.

- Application Deadline - Depending on the particular university and course, there may be a set date when any candidate should apply for admission and attach copies of required documents. This one depends on the fluctuating annual budgets.
- Eligibility Criteria – Candidates generally have to pass their 10+2 or equivalent examination and should have the minimum percentage or marks prescribed for the relevant subjects. Other criteria may apply.
- Some of the colleges have their own entrance test as a part of admission procedure and hence the candidate gets an added advantage to clear this test along with getting through the normal examinations. You would have to ascertain whether CU has such a test.
- Recruitment Procedure – For recruitment, candidates are usually admitted according to their 10+2 marks, entrance test (if conducted), Group discussion and/or Interview. This prepares an overall merit list for subsequent use.
- Counseling – short listed students have to go for counseling where they are subjected to document vetting, fare and based on the performance and availability of seats and the preferences of the student.
- It follows merit system in qualification examination that is 10+2 or its equivalent examination now on.
- For general category students, the minimum percentage in 10+2 they have to secure is 45% in the aggregate.
- However, for SC/ST students, it is set at a minimum of 40% marks only.
- Besides the marks, admission may take into consideration National level entrance test such as CAT/MAT/XAT, if any.
