The basic requirement for admissions in engineering branches such as Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical, Civil Engineering is the successful completion of 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Subjects with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved categories) in these three subjects also. JEE Mains, GUJCET are the entrance exam scores that are applicable for Chitkara University. BCA course: 12th grade pass with Mathematics/ Business Math/ Computer Science is required with 45% marks minimum (40% for ST/SC/OBC candidates). In BBA and B.Com programs, candidates must pass higher secondary school certificate with 45% aggregate marks for general category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC and other backward classes.

Chotuar University of Science and Technology (CUST) of Changa, Anand has also provided the various BBA programs in different departments. Department of Management Studies has following eligibility criteria for BBA Admissions: The candidate should have passed 12th grade from any stream with minimum 50% marks aggregate. The course is for the students of GUJCET, JEE Mains, CAT, MAT, ATMA, XAT. The Department of Banking also conducts BBA Banking program for which it accepts similar examinations but demands 55% in XII standard. The BBA in Family Business and Entrepreneurship only accepts GUJCET, JEE Mains score for admission, but the Department of Aviation and Hospitality Management has its own common entrance test for its BBA Aviation and BBA Tourism.

Faculties like the Faculty of Pharmacy accepts GATE/GPAT scores whereas the Faculty of Engineering accepts GATE/NET scores. Other accepted tests include CEED, JEST and tests conducted for university admissions.
