Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) is a State University in Meerut in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The University was established in 1965. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been accredited grade B++ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). CCSU got the 93rd rank among the 684 universities of NIRF in 2023.
The University runs undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in faculties such as: Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Medicine. Some of the most applicable degrees that are being offered in CCSU are BA, BSc, BCom, BEd, LLB, MBBS, BE/BTech, and MBA. The admission becomes effective from the month of May every year and CCSU organizes its own entrances for various courses. The dates for 2024 admission have not been announced yet but may be accessed from the official website.
The Career Guidance and Placement Office of CCSU also assists in placement and internship of students in renowned institutes. Companies that recruit qualified personnel at the institute include Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, and many other banks; Tata Motors Ltd, HCL; Hindustan Times, Federal Bank; Dabur, Theoberg and more. According to the recent data, 75 plus percent of the students have got placed in banks and financial institutions and some other product related industries and the average salary which is given is 3lpa-7lpa while some of the students have bagged up to 15 lpa offers last year. High ranking and large number of students being offered internship show that quality education is being imparted to the students by Chaudhary Charan Singh University.

Chaudhary Charan Singh University has an equally active placement cell which aids in the campus placement process of the students. There are some best companies that come to CCSU for recruiting like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL, and Tech Mahindra. Microsoft recruited the maximum salary for the batch of 2021-22 with the highest salary package of Rs 18 lakh per annum. The estimated average salary per package is Rs. and ranges between 4-6 lakh per annum across various engineering disciplines. Nearly three-quarters of eligible students got recruited last year through on-campus placement drives and pooled campuses. The increasing numbers of companies coming to CCSU for campus placements and the numbers of students getting placed after their academic programs indicate that CCSU has sound academics and skills.
