Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) is the state university in Bhilai Chhattisgarh and it was established in year 2005. CSVTU is an open university that was set in the year 2004 under an Act of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and is approved by UGC. The university has been accredited NAAC grade ‘A’ with CGPA 3.31 and stands at 95th rank in NIRF India ranking 2023 for engineering colleges.
This University offers diploma and degree courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in the faculty of engineering, technology, pharmacy, architecture and management. These are B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA MBA B.Pharma and Diploma courses in the engineering disciplines including computer Science, electronics, electrical, mechanical, Civil Engineering and many more.
CSVTU has a very good placement record and reputed industries like TATA Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Tech Mahindra have their placements cells in CSVTU itself.
