Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth Kochi is one of the deemed universities that offer courses for various fields such as science, arts, commerce & management. The main departments are science and technology, human and social science, management and commerce, environment and ecology, arts, yoga, Vedic science, and teacher education. The requirements differ with the course type – for the undergraduate science courses the candidate must have passed 12th in science stream with the minimum 50-60% marks in PCM/PCB subjects. Humanities and arts courses admit candidates from all streams, and one should score around 50-60 percent in the 12th board. Management programs like BBA require minimum 50-60% of marks in any stream in class 12th. MM, HMP and design programs have the same requirements as far as eligibility is concerned. Some science courses though require the KEAM/GUJCET/JEE score while some design and architecture programs require the NATA score

Admission at CVV Kochi is done both online and offline, for the students who wish to enroll for their classes. 

The online application process is user-friendly and anyone interested must apply through the official website, namely www.cvv.ac.in. On the page – admissions, there is an ‘Apply Now’ button and after clicking on it, one is required to input some basic information. Use the system generated ID and password to sign in. Scan through the application form and complete the necessary fields: your academic background, personal information and contact information all should be accurate. 

For applying offline, candidates may either download the form from the website or come down to the admission office in the university which is located at Veliyanad, Kochi, Kerala. For proper registration and submission of documents, the forms should be duly filled and accompanied by necessary documents and admission fees before the last date.

CVV Kochi UG Admission 2024

Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth (CVV), Kochi has a number of undergraduate courses that are offered in the fields of sciences and other streams like commerce, humanities and management. Some of the main departments that has implemented UG courses are: Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Commerce, English, Psychology, Journalism and Mass communication. Eligibility norms differ from one department to another – in order to take science courses in a student is required to pass Class 12 in science stream with PCB/PCM minimum 60% marks. Kerala Higher Secondary, CBSE, ICSE, etc are accepted for the admission in the institution. For commerce and humanities it is mandatory to pass in Class 12 in any stream with Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, English, Psychology subjects with 50% mark. The requirement for Management courses is to secure, at least, 60 percent in the Class 12 examination. 

CVV Kochi PG Admission 2024

Kochi based Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth offers number of post graduate courses in Management, Commerce, Arts, Science, Education and so on For each department the requirement of percentage to get admission also has slight difference. The eligibility criteria for MBA are that the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 % marks. The Common Admission Test (CAT) and other similar tests such as Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) and Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) are considered. The eligibility for MCom program is a BCom degree with minimum 55% mark and some tests like KMAT/CMAT are accepted. MA English has no restrictions with regard to the graduation stream, having only a minimum requirement of 50% and KMAT scores. Further MSc programs like Physics and Chemistry requires a Bachelor’s degree in the specific field with 50% marks and accepts KMAT/CMAT scores.

2. The link for B.Sc admission and the online application form will be opened just click on it.

3. All the personal, academic and contact details sections in the form must be completed.  

4. For photos and certificates to be used during the admission process, the student should scan and upload them.

5. After the completion of entries, it is important to submit the application fee online or paid through other ways.
