Cluster University of Jammu (CUJ) is an affiliated university which is located in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir state of India. It was started in the year 2016 and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). CUJ is accredited by NAAC with Grade A with a CGPA of 3.31 out of 4 points. According to NIRF university ranking 2023, it has scored a place between 151-200 in general ranking and 90 among universities.

Cluster University of Jammu Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Candidates need to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized central or a state board of examination with minimum prescribed marks as per course. Percentage expected for general category students may range between 50-60 Marks.
2. Candidates who are SC, ST, and OBC categories may have lower cut-off percentage marks than general category students, normally 5-10% lower if there is a government rule.
3. Candidates who have appeared or passed the qualifying examinations from other Universities/Boards have to fulfil the Equivalence criteria prescribed by Cluster University of Jammu.
4. For admission in these programs, the students have to meet all the general as well as program specific eligibilities concerning subjects offered in 10+2, entrance tests, interviews etc which are mentioned in the university prospectus.
5. There are restrictions by age as well where students are required to be a certain age and not older than a certain age in few programs. Age is reckoned on the last day of submission of the application.
6. There could be other norms to qualify for the post for sponsored candidates, candidates belonging to the state of Jammu and Kashmir who were displaced from their place of residence due to tension, armed forces personnel, and physically disabled persons. It is known that Cluster University of Jammu has always been successful in placing its students in various organizations.
