CT University is a self financed private university in Ludhiana, Punjab. It was founded in the year 2011 and is recognized by various legal authorities including UGC and AICTE. The university has received accreditation of an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC proving the quality Infrastructure and Education at CT University. In the last NIRF Rankings 2023 university category, the CT University secured 151st position.
Universities provide a wide course catalogue in fields of engineering, management, commerce, design, law, Journalism, sciences, education and many others. University examinations are set following their calendar and admission usually takes place in April for the next academic year that commences in July 2024. CT University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Bachelor's Programs: 12th pass or equivalent examination of any recognized Board with minimum 50% of the marks in aggregate. There may be other requirements such as entrance test score that may apply depending on the particular program being offered. The age limit for the use of services is 21 years.
2. Master's Programs: Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in relevant subject with minimum of 50% mark in aggregate. Only certain programs such as MBA may require work experience, test scores among other requirements. Maximum age 28 years.
3. Doctoral Programs: At least 55 percentage marks in Master’s degree in the same or allied field. Research proposal needed. Industry/teaching experience preferred. No age limit.
4. Diploma Programs: Candidates must be having 10+2 pass or equivalent in any stream from any recognized board for applying in this post. Common requirements include that candidates with a background in the sciences are preferred for technical diplomas. Age restrictions are also applicable with a condition that the employee should not be more than 28 years of age.
5. Certificate Programs: Completed higher secondary school certificate in any stream of studies from a recognized higher secondary school. Industry experience given weightage. No minimum percentage required. No age restriction.
6. Lateral Entry Programs: Credited diploma holders can be allowed to join the second year of the degree programmes. Employment will be appreciated. The age should not be more than 28 years of age. Scores on the assessment test also are taken into account.
