Darul Huda Islamic University located in Malappuram district of Kerala is made up of several departments in streams of arts, science, commerce, computer application, and vocational streams. The eligibility criteria may be different for each department: For BA courses like Arabic, English, economy, history, Islamic studies, students should pass higher secondary education or equivalent. For BSc specializations such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology – The student must have completed their 10+2 in science stream with minimum 50% aggregate. BCom and BBAM need 10+2 in any stream where the minimum 50% marks are desirable in the main subjects. BCA course accepts mathematics as one of the subjects in the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks an MCA entrance exam. MCom, MA, MSc, MBA and other Post Graduate programmes admit students based on their relevant Bachelor’s degree pass percentage as prescribed. Admission is through scores obtained in Entrance exams such as Kerala CEE, CUET, and Institute level test. 

The university provides the following courses as undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate levels in faculties of arts, science social, science commerce, computer science, journalism and vocational studies. Some of the important examination dates of the University are CEE conducted in April-May, CUET held in July, Institute entrance examinations take place in June-July and Semester examinations as per the academic session. The admission application forms will be from December, 2023 onward. Admission process includes – registration either online or on paper, submission of documents and certificates, written examination if necessary, and lastly the counselling session where the candidate is given his/her seat depending on his/her performance and the reservation policy of the institution. In some courses, the Admission is conducted based on the qualifying examination marks, entrance test and the personal interview conducted for the candidates.

6. Wait for selection process – The next step if you meet the eligibility requirements is that you will be invited for a written test/oral interview. Selections are strictly merit-based. 

7. Full admission procedures – Upon being admitted, pay for tuition fees, forward the original documents to the university as a way of proving admission and sign the admission contract.
