Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), also known as Rohtak University is a State University that is located in Murthal, Sonepat in the state of Haryana in India. Founded in the year 2006, DCRUST has valid recognition from the University Grants Commission or UGC and is accredited with ‘B’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council or NAAC. The employment procedure of DCRUST is handled by the university placement cell with tie-ups with several companies for campus placements. Some of the leading selectors are Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro Limited, Infosys Limited and Cognizant which typically provide employment in the IT and software sector. The T&P cell has claimed more than 80% placement for eligible students in the placement drive of the academic year 2021-22 which has set the highest salary package of Rs 18 LPA offered by Microsoft. The starting pay scale was from Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 per month and the average salary package was lying between Rs 4 lakh to Rs 6 lakh per Annum.
