The Department of Business Administration was established in the year 1994 with the noble intention of imparting quality business education and research. It is approved by the AICTE and is also acknowledged by the UGC. The department has received an NAAC Grade of A++ which signifies the superior quality of the department. The NIRF ranking of the institute was 37th in the management institutes in the year 2023.
The department provides two-year full-time Master of Business Administration with majors in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology and International Business. It also has a 3-year part-time MBA program designed for working executive. The admission process for the 2024 batch will commence in January of the year 2024. Candidates who wish to join MBA have to write CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT Examinations and then go through group discussion and Personal Interview.
The placement cell of the department has proved itself by giving internship and final placements to many students in reputed organizations. The well-known names in recruiters list are Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Reliance and so on. The maximum salary offered for the batch of 2022-24 was 18 LPA and the median salary was 7.2 LPA.
