DSRRAU Jodhpur is one of the leading Ayurved University in Rajasthan which is recognized from UGC ,University Grants Commission. DSRRAU was established in the year 2003 and it has been providing excellent stdies in ayurvedic stream for the past more than 5 decades. The specific university has NAAC Grade A accreditation which defines high quality of education in the university. In terms of NIRF ranking 2023, DSRRAU Jodhpur stands at 20 positions in the category of medical universities in India.
The university has diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in specialized professional fields of Ayurveda. The courses that are offered are BAMS, MD/MS Ayurveda, Diploma in Yoga & Naturopathy, BNYS, and PhD in different sub-specialties of Ayurveda. The dates for admission to the 2024 batch will be in May 2023. Common entrance tests will be held in June-July, 2023 for entry into under graduate/post graduate courses. The exams are conducted on the basis of their knowledge in biology, chemistry and general intelligence and knowledge of Ayurveda.

Many famous healthcare organization such as Dabur, Himalaya, Charak Pharma, Emami Group, Patanjali Ayurveda and several other firms come to the university for recruitment. The university employs various strategies to facilitate the employment of its postgraduate students, as evidenced by the 81% of students who got a job offer or joined a doctoral program last year.
