- It is based on the intake through NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) test scores. One has to write NATA and produce the scores as one of the requirements to be admitted in that institution.
- In addition to the score acquired in NATA test, candidate’s performance in the 12th board examination is also considered. Minimum percentage in 12th examination also should be 50% for the calculation of the aggregate percentage.
- In addition to that the university also conducts a personal interview in which they try to know more about the candidates such as their interests, creativity, general awareness etc.
- The selection procedure includes NATA score with passing marks of 50%, 12th standard board marks constituting 30% and interview marks constituting 20%.
- While selecting the candidate for the post, if two or more candidates score equal marks in the selection process, then the candidate with a higher NATA score will be preferred.
- The candidate must possess the first bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD) in respective discipline or equivalent.
- Admission is merit-based and students sit for an entrance examination administered by the specific university. It has tests for teaching abilities, logical ability, general knowledge and awareness, etc for the entrance into the training program.
- After the written test, the candidates are selected for the interview on the basis of the test they have appeared in the entrance exam. The interview is mainly concerned with exploring interests, attitude, fluency etc.
- The candidate goes through an elimination process and those who score the highest marks in the entrance exam, interview session and those who meet the criteria such as academic performance get selected for the programme.
- Certain percentage of weight also lies with other qualification such as UGC NET, SLET, clearances, work experience and other achievements in co-curricular activities, etc.
- The university declares the cut offs and final merit list for selection after assessing the various factors as well as the number of seats that are available for B.Ed. program every year.

- B.Pharma courses offered in India usually require qualified candidates to be determined on the basis of performance in the entrance examination or in the 12th standard board examination. Some colleges also have their own entrance tests too Some of the national level entrance tests are as follows:
- The admission notification which includes the eligibility criteria of admission, admission procedure and the important dates of admission are generally available many months before the beginning of the session on the college website as well as in newspaper/other online news portal.
- The common requirements for admission apply where one has sat and passed his or her 12th standard examination with credits in physics, chemistry and maths/biology subjects. The minimum percentage required for the aggregate can differ depending on the college that the student wants to attend.
- The kinds of tests the selection may involve can range from just clearing the cutoff marks in entrance exam/12th boards or may also include group discussions and personal interviews.
- For specific details on how to get enrolled in DPU Navi Mumbai and for the specific dates of the B.Pharma admissions for this year, it is advisable to check with the college itself by visiting the college website or better still through the college’s admission office. The criteria and process of evaluation are sometimes different across the years.
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or any other equivalent examination in the science stream with physics, chemistry, biology/Maths group. Aggregate of minimum marks: 45%-50%; however, the required marks may be relaxed for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
- It follows merit principle where candidates with higher marks in the qualifying exam are admitted. The university/institute can conduct its own entrance exam or give importance to scores of some exams like MHT-CET, JEE Main, etc.
- As per the norms of the government of India, there are concessions provided to the reserved category of students such as SC/ ST/ OBC’s in terms of the cut-off marks/criteria.
- Further, the students may be required to face oral communication round, GD round and/or written aptitude test as conducted by the institute to check the suitability.
- There could also be certain preferences/additional weightage for candidates who have cleared NSEP or have had prior work experience.
- However, as you know merit, number of seats available for the program, reservation policies, preference by the management etc are some of the factors that may be involved in short listing and selection.
