Eternal University is one of the private universities situated in Himalchal Pradesh, India. It was founded in 2009 and from that time this University has grown to be one of the most reputable institutions offering higher education. Some of these approvals include; It has been recognized by UGC and AICTE among other eminent bodies. It has been accredited by NAAC with grade ‘A’, which underlines the institution’s focus on academic attainment. In the year 2023, it has achieved the position of the 150 ranked universities for NIRF rankings in India.
The university is a major provider of courses and programs across the fields of engineering and technology, management and commerce, agriculture, computer applications, hospitality, and tourism, law, basic and applied sciences, and others. These courses are mainly available through entrance tests across the country as well as state level examination such as JEE Main, CAT, HPSEE, etc The process starts in the mid of March and the last date to apply for these courses are 2024. These examinations are conducted during the November/December and May/June respectively for the different semesters.
But for final placements, every branch has placement cell which is actively working for internships and final placements of students. Some of the prominent recruiters include Amazon, Bosch, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. consistantly visiting the campus. During the academic year 2022-23, the placement of the students was above 500 in Information technology, analytics, manufacturing, BFSI etc. The maximum salary provided was Rs. 32,00,000 and the median salary provided by the organization was Rs. 6,50,000. On Campus Drives: A large number of students, over 75 percent of the eligible ones, were successfully placed through on-campus drives alone. The placement cell also assists students in their entry to higher education needs and help them if they plan to study abroad.

Eternal University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For undergraduate programs, students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by the board with minimum marks and the variation in the aggregate marks differ from program to program. Subject requirements also vary.
2. It is mandatory for the students who wish to get enrolled in post graduate programs hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with minimum percentage marks which may differ from course to course.
3. For admission into PhD program, the student should have passed a relevant master’s degree with an aggregate of at least fifty five percent. Other tests at the national level may also be mandatory, if one has to qualify in them.
4. For diploma and certification program candidates who have passed 10+2 exam are eligible to apply. Some programs may have specific work experience requirements that need to be fulfilled before one can be admitted into that program.
5. Extra entry conditions such as entrance examinations, interviews, experience in the relevant field etc. can also be added for some courses. Refer to program brochures.
6. The extent of relaxations for reserved category students in terms of minimum eligibility criteria as per government norms may also exist for the programme. Weightage systems may also apply As has been mentioned above, there are various weightage systems that may apply depending on the situation.
