Faculty of Management Sciences and Liberal Arts at Shoolini University is one of the most prestigious faculties that offer quality management and liberal arts education in Himachal Pradesh. Set up in 2009 Shoolini University has now carved out a niche for itself and has been accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ Grade and also ranked 151-200 universities in India by NIRF 2023. The faculty provides UG, PG and doctoral programs in many disciplines of management, commerce, economics, English, journalism and mass communication. The faculty has been providing full time campus based Under Graduate courses such as BBA, B.Com, BA English, BA Economics, BJMC and Post Graduate degrees like MBA, M.Com, MA English, MA Economics etc. There are also diploma and certification courses in other fields like Digital Marketing among others. They are normally administered in November and May of the academic year. The admission process for the batch of 2024 will begin during the early part of the year 2023. Students are admitted based on performance in the relevant qualifying examinations. The admission process includes online registration, writing any examination conducted by the university and personal interview. Scholarships are also granted to students who deserve it. 

Faculty has witnessed an increase in placements and packages year after year. Many reputed companies like Amazon, Dell, Decathlon, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, etc. recruit students from Shoolini University for campus placements. In the case of management students, the placement record of the 2021-22 batch is even more impressive – over 86% of eligible students were placed, with over 150 companies extending placement offers. The highest salary package offered in this recruitment process was up to 36 lakhs per annum. Media and corporate communication students receive good placements in the education sector although currently fewer companies target these streams. 1. BBA program - Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized University. Qualifications: Applicant must be strong in quantitative skills, reasoning ability, and communication. Focuses on management concepts.  

2. BA Economics program – Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks. Very good analytical skill is needed in this position. Economics, statistics, and mathematics are subjects that are covered.

3. BA English program – candidate should have passed 10+2 examination in any stream from any recognized board of India. Excellent English proficiency required. Specializes in teaching English literature, language, and communication. 

4. BA Journalism & Mass Communication program – Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination in any stream. To be effective, the candidate must possess good writing and interpersonal skills. It includes areas such as print, television, new media etc.  

5. BA Psychology program – The candidate should have 10+2 pass in any stream with minimum of 50% marks. Strong analytical skills required. Covers areas like psychological processes, treatment methods.
