Gondwana University is one of the state universities in Maharashtr, established in Gadchiroli. The hospital was founded in 2012 and was accredited by the University Grants Commission. Gondwana University has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the year 2022 with grade ‘A’ certificate which reflects high quality in education and research. Gondwana University has its placement cell, where campus interview sessions are done for the students. The percentage of eligibility for the placement has been ensured because in the current 2021-22 placement session, more than 75 companies visited the campus for campus placements and out of the total number of students who appeared for the placements, 65% of students got selected for the jobs offered by these companies. Some of the top recruiting companies were – Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Tech Mahindra. The maximum offered salary package was of American Express of Rs. 25,000/-per annum, and median salary package offered was Rs. 6,500/-per annum.
