Graphic Era Hill University Bhimtal Campus is the independent university in the Bhimtal, Uttarakhand state. This University was set up in 2011 and it is approved by UGC. As of the year 2022, the status of the university has been accredited grade ‘A’ by NAAC. According to NIRF Rankings 2023, the university has been placed in the rank between 101-150 universities in India.
The universities include Welingkar Institute of Management, Dr. D. Y. Patil University, D Y Patil University, University of Pune, and Symbiosis International University where they provide different undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields such as engineering, computer applications, business management, commerce, arts, design law, journalism, hotel management, applied sciences, and agriculture. Fresh admission is open for the 2024 batch now. The students have a choice of applying either online or in the conventional manner where they have to download an application form and appear for the entrance test of GEHU.

Graphic Era Hill University Bhimtal Campus Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. At least 10+2 pass in relevant stream from recognised board for under graduate programs such as BTech, MCA, BCA, BBA, BA, BCom.
2. Graduation hold by the candidate with a relevant field such as Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information Technology for MTech/MCA/ M.Sc./BBA/M.Com/MBA.
3. Some programs may actually need valid entrance test scores such as the JEE Main, GATE.
4. The candidates, who have a minimum of 55% in their master’s degree examination and who have valid UGC-NET/SET score card are eligible for the post of PhD.
5. There may be some of the fields where work experience is mandatory for few of the specialized programs at PG and doctoral level may be needed.
6. Prerequisite academic performance for admission is expected to be reasonably good by the university in the previous study.
