Graphic Era University is located at Dehradun and the university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields of engineering, computer applications, management & commerce, humanities & science, law journalism & hotel management and allied healthcare. Minimum 50% aggregate marks in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or passing qualifying exam like JEE Main is mandatory to get admission in B.Tech engineering degree programmes. Students in their 12th standard can join BCA course without any restriction on the stream they have taken with minimum 50% marks. For MBA stream, the graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in their graduation are eligible. The BHMCT program admissions consider class 12 pass candidates as its eligibles, with English being a compulsory subject. The Law programs like BA LLB and BBA LLB is an integrated program and there is no age restrictions but the candidate must have minimum 50% marks in class 12. BSc and MSc courses are open for the candidates coming from science background in class 12th with relevant stream choices. Mass communication degrees have no provision regarding the stream or percentage of marks a student should possess.
Among various courses extended by the University, one can apply for B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, BCA, BBA, MBA, BHMCT, B.Sc, M.Sc, M.Sc, M.Com, B.A LLB, BBA LLB, B.A and Integrated courses. The major test for engineering is JEE Main followed by NPAT for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) / Master of Business Administration (MBA), Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) / Law School Admission Test (LSAT) for law courses, and various hotel management tests for BHMCT. Some of the steps involved in the admission process are, online application through the university portal or national level tests/entrance exams, pre-screening based on the candidate’s eligibility, personal interviews, document verification, payment of fees and confirmation. The application is now available, and examinations are planned for April-May of the year 2024. Some of the interested students secure provisional admission subject to qualifying the class XII examinations.

1. It will be located in the top right corner of the website www.geu.ac.in and one has to click on the ‘Admissions’ tab. Choose the course of your interest for which you are willing to apply, for instance, B.Tech.
2. On the top right corner of the landing page, there is a button labelled ‘Apply Now’; once clicked, the applicant is taken to the application portal.
3. Registration by providing all your personal details, contact details, academic details and other related information.
4. Choose your stream of B.Tech. and rightly input all your academic qualification.
5. Uploaded the scanned images of photographs, signatures, class 10 and 12 mark sheets etc., as per the prescribed size and format.
6. Ensure all the details are entered correctly before filling and submitting the GEU B.Tech application online. Pay the application fees through online methods like internet banking, through credit or debit card etc.
7. After the completion of the application, the candidate is supposed to save and print the confirmation/acknowledgement page that is usually displayed once the application is complete.
8. If shortlisted, you will be informed of the next counseling and admission process at GEU. Documents required: passport, visa, photographs, other necessary documents Fees for processing: visa, photographs, etc.
9. It is expected to pay the first semester fees on confirmation of the seat for admission and to do all enrolment procedures within the prescribed time.
