Gujarat University is a state university in the city of Ahmedabad, the largest city of the Gujarat state of India . It was established in the year 1949 and is one of the prime universities of the state holding NAAC Grade A certification. Gujarat University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
Undergraduate (UG)
The basic admission criteria for bachelors degree programs is 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Indian or foreign University/Board with minimum percentage of marks depending on the course. Certain programs have specified additional requirements that students need to meet in order to be considered for admission.
Postgraduate (PG)
For application in Master’s degree programs, candidates need to possess a relevant UG degree from a recognized University with minimum percentage of marks; it may, however, differ from course to course. Some of the programs have entrance examination that admission seekers must sit for.
Diploma

Gujarat University Placements 2024
Placement is another parameter which is equally important and Gujarat University is considered as one of the best in providing placements. The major companies that visit the campus for placements are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Reliance, Adani Group, and several others, including public sectors. Microsoft offered the highest salary package of Rs 220000 per year last year. The compensation paid for these positions was relatively low, and the median pay package was about Rs 45000 per year. There is an empirical growth of 35% in the number of placements and average salary packages offered in comparison to the previous years. The placement cell of the university assists the students in getting placed in different companies; the university has tie-ups with over 150 leading companies. The institute also provides 85% opportunities of placements to the eligible student through campus interviews.
