Himalayiya University is a private University in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. It was started in the year 2019 and is approved by the University Grants Commission UGC of India. This university has been accredited with the grade ‘A’ from NAAC which stands for the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Himalayiya University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board or university with not less than 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for candidates of SC/ST/OBC category.
2. For BTech programs, the candidates need to have cleared their 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. A candidate must have atleast 50% marks in PCM stream subjects.
3. For the BA/BSc/BCom programs, candidates should have cleared 10+2 in Science/ Commerce/ Arts from a recognized board.
4. For MA/MSc/MCom programs, candidates must have passed the relevant bachelor’s degree with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
5. For MBA programme, the graduate from any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) can apply. Entrance test score also needed for admission in any course of the university.
6. For PhD, candidates must have completed relevant master’s degree with minimum 55% marks. The qualification of entrance exam and interview need to be added.
