Accreditation The HSNC University Mumbai provides numerous Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Law and Management streams. To determine the eligibility criteria of an individual, it depends with the respective departments. For B.Sc programs, it is mandatory that the candidate possesses a pass in 12th standard in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For the admission into B.E. programmes etc, the minimum percentage of marks expected is 50% or above, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. It is a three-year programme that offers admission to candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination in any field with minimum aggregate percentage. Courses like B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Des, B.Planning, BID, MCI, AIPMT, CET, JEE Main, HSNCET are offered for admissions.
The HSNC University streams are Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Law , and Management Streams are available. It has programs of study such as the B.Sc, B.A, B.Com, BBA, and BCA programs among others. There are also engineering courses for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, computer science and other fields like B.E and B.Tech. For admission in 2024, the exams are HSNCET from March to May 2023 for B. Tech and BBA, JEE Main Jan for the session 2023 for Engineering, SET for B.Sc conducted in May 2023. The admission process begins with online registration on the University portal in May 2023 after the declaration of the result of the qualifying examination. The allocation of seat is done through the CAP rounds for June, July, and August of the year 2023 by filling choices. They admit after examination of documents provided and receipt of fees in accordance with the timetable set by the authorities.

If you wish to apply online, go to the HSNC University link on the internet through the link provided for ‘Online Admission’. You have to register an account, enter your details in an application form, scan documents and upload them, pay the application fees and send it in. To apply for admission under off line process, the application form and the brochure can be collected from the university admission office either through cash or through Demand Draft. It is recommended that you complete the application form and submit photocopies of relevant documents to the office of admission before the deadline. The fee can also be paid through crossed demand draft or online application fee payment can also be made. The candidates having the above-mentioned criteria are required to submit the following documents with the application form and after the scrutiny, candidates will be called for further admission process like entrance test/ interview etc before the final merit list is published in the website.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
- Schools grant admissions based on merit they obtained in the qualifying examination that is 12th standard exams.
- Whereas, for open category students, the minimum requirements are 45 % of the aggregate marks in 12th standard. For reserved category students, the minimum mark requirement often differ or is lesser than the non reserved category students.
- There are central admission processes in most learning institutions and the students are required to complete and submit admission forms. It follows the 12th standard mark merit/rank list or as per any other norms that the university may set.
- Apart from marks, other parameters may be taken into consideration depending on the university the student is applying for like entrance test performance if any, group discussion, personal interview etc during the process.
- The students with commerce subjects in 12th standard are often preferred over students with arts/science stream background.
1. It may be necessary to look up the B.Com course and program on the university website or in the advertisement to determine when the application period is. This is usually conducted in May/June each year.
2. After opening the applications, go to the university website and navigate to the online B.Com application form. There may be another page to apply; there is usually a link for that on the main page of the organization.
3. Read through application form and fill in all fields as required major ones are personal information, academic qualifications, and contact information.
4. There may be an application fees, they should pay online to submit the form. Complete the payment.

- It is to be noted that the selection is made strictly on merit especially on the basis of CET examination conducted by the Maharashtra government. It is mandatory for the candidates to go through some process such as MAH B.Ed CET examination and get themselves registered.
- CET exam is conducted in one paper which contains multiple choice questions on general awareness, logical reasoning and English language comprehension, and assessment of teaching skills.
- In accordance to the total scores achieved in CET, merit list is prepared and counseling is conducted. Unlike many other colleges, HSNCU Mumbai has its own merit list for the selected candidates for the college out of the total candidates who have applied.
- In the course of counselling, the candidates aim at getting admission for the course of their choice based on the ranking or scores obtained and the available space in the respective institutions.
- Reserved categories as per the Maharashtra rules including SC, ST, OBC, and special ability students and others. Such quotas ensure that a certain percentage of seats are set aside for such categories.
- It is mandatory for candidates to register and secure a seat and then it is up to the candidate to submit original documents and make the payment for the same in the given time frame.
