ICFAI University Dehradun provides Nos of programs in various discipline such as Management, Law, Science & Technology, Education etc. Depending on the department, the criteria to qualify for the program may be different. For BBA and MBA, the candidates should have cleared the 12th standard in any stream from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Thus, acceptable examination boards are CBSE and other boards of states respectively. The candidates should have cleared their class 12th and should have a minimum of 45% marks for them to be considered for BALLB admission and there is no restriction of age. Any exam like CBSE, CISCE, NIOS etc. is valid and accepted by the institution. Performance in other examinations such as Joint Entrance Examination also known as JEE is also factored in. The admission to B.Ed course is open to graduates in any stream with pass marks from any University recognized by NCTE / UGC / Government body. BCA course has no constraint with reference to the stream the student has taken in the 12th standard but the student must have a minimum of 50% average marks.

The ICFAI University Dehradun provides a number of undergraduate programmes in various streams including management, science, technology, law and so on The BBA and MBA programme offered by the Institute of Management Studies is approved by AICTE. XAT, CAT, MAT, ATMA scores are considered for admission to BBA and MBA programme. The BCom program that is being offered by the Faculty of Commerce allows students to take certain exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA. The BBA-LLB honors program is integrated with the BBA and LLB and is offered at the ICFAI Law School, the scores of CLAT along with the score of the entrance examination conducted by the ICFAI law school is accepted for admission. Like other bachelor degree programs such as BSc, BTech, BA ,apart from the ICFAI entrance test, the universities also offer admission through national level exams like JEE Main, GATE.
Undergraduate programs are Management, science, Engineering, Commerce, Arts etc Under Graduates courses are B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, B.A (Hons), B.A.LL.B, BBA-LLB.
