ICFAI University Dehradun is one of the best known institutes located in Dehradun the capital city of the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. It was established in the year 2003-04 and has been validated by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The university has also been graded ‘A’ by NAAC in the year 2023, ensuring that the education and research of the institution are of high quality. According to NIRF rankings of 2023, it had been ranked among the 100 best universities in India.
The university provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees courses in different fields of study such as management, law, science, education, engineering, and technology. Some of the courses offered are B.Tech, M.Tech, BBA, MBA, B.Com, BA LLB, B.ED, M.Sc, and Ph.D. seat intake and admission to the programs offered is done through entrance examination like JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT etc. The admission process for all programs begins in the month of January and classes for new batch start from July-August. The admission tests for the 2024 batch, therefore, are planned to be conducted between January to May of 2023.
ICFAI University situated at Dehradun has been recording a very good placement ratio. Some key highlights of the placement drive are that, as of the batch 2022-23, around 236 firms came to campus for placement. The leading recruiters were Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Grant Thornton, Blackstone, Decathlon, Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. 2022-23 batch has achieved 85% plus placements for the students and the highest package offered to the deserving candidate is INR 32 LPA. There was a rise in the average package of INR 7.2 LPA.

ICFAI University Placements 2024
The ICFAI University Dehradun has a special placement cell where Interview and selection of the students are done in different companies. Some of the leading recruiters that exist in the country are ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, Capgemini, and Accenture. The maximum salary package for the placement drive of 2022-23 was 15 LPA from Infineon Technologies with an average package size of 4.5 LPA. The placement rate of the 2023 graduating batch was about 85% indicating many students got placed through the campus recruitment by top corporate organizations. The training and placements cell provide training on aptitude, technical skills and soft skills to prepare the students for industries.
