Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar is one of the newer institutes among the Indian Institutes of Technology, having been established in 2008. - For BTech programs: Got 12th standard (65% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. For SC/ST marks, 75%) with a high score. To be eligible for higher studies, I passed the JEE Advanced exam.
- For MTech programs: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with aggregate marks (55 % for SC/ST) of 60%. Qualified in GATE exam.
- For MSc programs: The Bachelor’s degree in my field of interest. Target group criteria should be defined by the program.
- For PhD: Masters in the field which is related to the required specialization. Certain requirements would vary based on concentrated field and, obviously, seats availability.
- IIT Bhubaneswar offers BTech MTech MS(Research) and PhD as well as MSc degrees in numerous branches of engineering and science.
- The criteria for BTech admissions include passing the JEE Advanced exam, which may be taken after JEE Mains by clearing the exam. The admission is against the score in the JEE Advanced exam.
