IIT Palakkad is one of the youngest and newest Indian Institutes of Technology. It is a public engineering college in Palakkad, Kerala, founded by the Institute of Technology Act 1961. IIT Palakkad has also been accredited with Grade A by NAAC which means that the institution is offering high quality of education. The institute got its rank 37th among the engineering colleges of India in the recently announced NIRF Rankings 2024.
The institute provides education for B.Tech courses in various branches of engineering like Computer Science and Engineering; Electronics and Communication Engineering; Mechanical Engineering and so on. This university is comprised of students who qualify for the admission after passing the JEE Advanced examination. JEE Mains for session 2024-25 will be conducted in January and April 2024 while JEE Advanced is likely to be held in May 2024. Entrance tests comprise of registration, sit for the tests, results of merit list, and counseling.
