IIIT Una is a leading technical and research institution situated Una, Himachal Pradesh, India. 1. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board scoring 75% (65% for SC/ST candidates) and above in aggregate.
2. He/she should have passed the 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects of study. Biology, Computer Science or Informatics Practices could be taken as an optional subject.
3. The candidate has to have taken JEE Main test and has got a proper ranking for admissions. Different categories may have different ranks in order to be cut-off.
4. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, there is an eligibility requirement of having passed the 10+2 examination with minimum sixty percent as well as requirement at second step.
5. Only those applicants who are children of workers of India and living abroad can apply under direct admission scheme based on the 10+2 examination.
6. The maximum age of candidates for the General category is 21 years as on the date of admission. There is flexibility in age rules that is acceptable under the norms set by the government for the reserved categories.
