IIM Indore is one of the youngest and the most promising Indian Institutes of Management among the other nine nodes of IIMs in India. IIM Indore is one of the premier Management school situated in Madhya Pradesh which was established in 1996 by Government of India. Apart from that, it is NAAC Grade ‘A++ ‘ Accredited. In the NIRF Rankings 2023 that have been recently declared, IIM Indore stood 9th in Management Institutes ranked in the country.
IIM Indore provides numerous opportunities in different specialization areas of management education in the form of postgraduate diploma programmes. The flagship PGP is a 2-year residential programme with provision for specialization in fields such as Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT and Systems etc. For the admission in PGP batch 2024, admission will be through CAT/GMAT/GRE scores followed by Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) process in Feb-Mar. Other programs provided are – Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), Executive Post Graduate Programme, Doctoral Programme (Ph.D) and various certificate programs for professionals.
IIM Indore is one of the premier B-schools of India and has a very good placement record in recent years as there were more than 236 companies from India and abroad who participated in the final placement for the graduating batch of 2023. The highest CTC offered was 58.47 LPA while the average salary provided to the students was INR 25.08 LPA which was 17% more than the average salary of the previous year. Top MNCs and conglomerates that hire strategists are Accenture Strategy, Aditya Birla group, Amazon, Bain and Company, Boston Consulting group, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Mastercard, McKinsey and Company and Tata Steel among others.

IIM Indore Placements 2024
IIM Indore has maintained a great placement record for the graduating batch for the year 2022 and the recruiters include Microsoft, BCG, Amazon, and PwC. The median salary increased to 25.5 LPA and the highest domestic salary to 54 LPA was bagged by an eminent management consulting firm. More than 36% of the total students who have chosen a placement got placed through internships in the form of PPOs/PPIs. There were apparent hiring areas in consulting & strategy, finance, sale & marketing as well as in general management.
