Indrashil University is a self-financed private university situated in Rajpur of Gujarat which has been formed as per the Gujarat state private universities act. It is recognized by UGC and is accredited with a B++ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It’s also placed in the 101-150 band in NIRF rankings 2023 As an institution of learning and development, the University’s primary goal is to nurture students into becoming well-rounded individuals who can contribute positively to society. As of now, Indrashil offers more than 40 programs in the field of engineering, pharmacy, business, commerce, science and others. The university has developed infrastructure with adequate built up area spread over 65 acres with sophisticated amenities such as air-conditioned rooms, wireless internet connectivity, computer and other laboratories, library, multi-facility sports complex and other amenities.
Indrashil recognizes its commitment to offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in its eight core faculties. The engineering programs offered at the university are B.Tech where students can pursue majors in computer science, information technology, mechanical engineering electrical and so on while masters degree programs in engineering include M.Tech in computer science and engineering, structural engineering, VLSI and embedded systems and more. Other important disciplines and programs are B-Pharma, M-Pharma, B-B-M, M-B-M, B-Com, M-Com, B.Sc and M.Sc in microbiology, biochemistry, mathematics and others. The admission for the undergraduate programs in session 2024 Is open for which entrance tests including IUTET will be conducted in May, 2023 while the Undergraduate Admissions will be conducted as per the marks obtained by the students in their 12th examination.
Indrashil also has a very good placement system that has more than 120 companies participating in recruiting students from the university. The highest pay was Rs 14 LPA and average pay Rs 5 LPA for the batch placed in 2022 placements. 1. The requirements for undergraduate programs are that the students should have had 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board to be able to gain admission with 50% average marks. Certain programs might have extra requirements depending on the course of study.
2. For postgraduate programs, students must have passed a Bachelor degree relevant to the postgraduate course intended to pursue with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission. Some of the programs like master of business administration may require extra tests.
3. The admission criteria to seek admission in a doctoral program requires one to have a postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks and to clear an entrance test and interview conducted by the University.
4. The students have to have completed their qualifications at their home country at least equivalent to those mentioned above with good grades.
5. In general, the minimum percentage criteria may be relaxed for the reserved category students as per the government rules and regulation; however, they must meet all the other pre-requisites.
6. Besides, there could be entrance exams, interviews, the necessary practical experience, etc. that should be passed by the applicants according to the certain requirements of the programs. In some instances, there may be a need for other forms of identification.
