Indus International University more commonly abbreviated as IIU, is a private university which is situated in Una, Himachal Pradesh. IIU was established in 2011 and already is recognised by the UGC and approved by the AICTE. The university has been accredited with grade ‘A’ from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the year 2022. As per NIRF ranking 2023, IIU stands at the 131 position among University in India.
The university has a variety of programs and majors in field of engineering management, commerce, computer applications, hotel management, designing, law and others. Some of the Trending Courses are Btech, MBA, BCA, Bcom, BA LLB, BDes. The admission process for the next year batch 2024 will be started in the month of October 2023. Admission requirements to IIU for BTech is through entrance examination while other programs are competed on the basis of merit. Indus International University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Engineering – 12 years of education with Physics, chemistry, Mathematics, minimum 60% in the aggregate.
2. Pharmacy - Minimum 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics and 50% total marks need to be obtained.
3. Management – Candidate must have 10+2 in any stream and minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Entrance test conducted.
4. Computer Applications – Any 10+2 as a minimum educational qualification and candidates must have obtained an aggregate of 50%. For some programs it is taken as the basis of the entrance test.
5. Commerce & Economics – As per the above mentioned requirements, students who have passed 10+2 examination in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply.
6. Science – 10 + 2 in science stream with the particular subjects, minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
