IIIT Bangalore is a prestigious institute that provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computational Natural Sciences, Design & Social Science, Software Engineering, Cyberspace & Security, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence, and many others. The admission procedure at International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIITB) is both online and offline. The IIIT Bangalore conducts a number of undergraduate courses across the engineering and science stream. The Computer Science department provides BTech in Computer Science where the students must have passed 12th board exams with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the subjects and must have obtained at least 60% marks in their aggregate. The admission to the college is based on KCET, COMEDK, and JEE Main exams only. The Electronics and Communication department also have BTech for which the accepted exams are KCET, JEE Main and BITSAT. Candidates should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum of 60% marks. The Computational Mathematics department provides BSc in Computational Mathematics for the students having score of KCET, JEE Main and other state level examinations. The candidates applying for the post of Clerk must have passed 12th board examinations with Mathematics as a mandatory subject.
The IIIT-B provides several 4-years UG degree programs in fields of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computational Mathematics, Information Technology, Data Analytics , Electronics, Civil Engineering and Health Care.
IIIT Bangalore gives admission to the PhD programs in different departments such as Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computational and Natural Sciences, Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Social Sciences and Humanities. The requirements for each department differ but basic qualifications include a Master’s degree in the relevant field obtained with good grades. The entrance examinations that are considered include GATE, UGC NET, JRF, NBHM, CSIR NET, DBT BET JRF, ICMR JRF, ICAR, INSPIRE or any other examination of equivalent standard.
