Invertis University Bareilly is a self financed university situated in Bareilly in the Uttar Pradesh state of India. It was established in the year 1998 and was later UGC recognized and approved by the AICTE. The University has been accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) in the year 2023. By the 2023 NIRF ranking system, Invertis University has been placed in the ranking of 101-150 universities in India.
The university teaches numerous undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in faculties of Engineering & Technology, Computer Applications, Management & Commerce, Media & Mass Communication, Architecture & Planning, Applied Sciences, Humanities & Languages, Law and Pharmacy. BTech, MTech, BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA, BPharm, M,Pharm, are some of the courses offered in the university.
The undergraduate level programmes B.Tech and M.Tech are offered under the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) counseling system. While in other programs like BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA the admission is taken through management entrance tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT, UPSEE, etc followed by group discussion and interview. The process of admissions for the next academic year, which is 2024-25, shall start around February 2024.
Placements in Invertis University have been great in the past and the record is only increasing year by year. Some of the leading ones are Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Wipro, Accenture and several others. The median salary offered to the students falls in between 4 to 7 LPA scaled package and the highest up to 42 LPA so far. The placement cell also organises pre-placement discussions, training, internships and the Annual Mega Job Fair with greater than 150 companies participating and providing over 2000 job vacancies.
