Jagannath University is a state university which was established in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in the year 1997. It was initiated in 2005 under the Jagannath University Act and now become one of the biggest university with more than 20000 students. Jagannath University has a standing and accreditation in Bangladesh through the University Grants Commission and NAAC accreditation of ‘B+’ for quality education in India. According to the NIRF rankings of the year 2023, Jagannath University was placed in the category of universities and the rank was 101-150.
The university has a number of programmes across faculties such as Arts, Business Administration, Biological Sciences, Law, Social Sciences, etc. Some of the popular programs offered include BBA, MBA, LLB, BA in English, Economics, Sociology, etc. The admission tests are administered twice under the normal and the centralized test in June and December respectively. It normally takes a calendar year and exams are also set according to the academic calendar. Admission process includes submission of papers, examination, and interview. The qualified students then go through counseling with regards on the subject they want and admission confirmation.

The placement rate has been above 85% in the last few years which shows that education standards of the university is high and is close to industrial standards. Jagannath University Courses Details 2024
Jagannath University, Jaipur was established in 2008 and is approved by UGC, NAAC accredited A Grade and ISO 9001:2015 certified, only 30% of companies had certified integrated management systems. It provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in engineering, management science, physical and natural sciences, education, pharmacy, agriculture, laws, journalism, design, and many others.
Research at the university is emphasis with over 150 Ph.D. guides across disciplines. Some of the distinct infrastructural facilities available at this campus are hi-tech labs, instrumentation centers, specialized libraries, hostels, gym, sports complex, etc.
Some of the most pursued majors at the UG level are BTech, BBA, BA, BSc and BDes while MBA, MTech, MA, MSc and MDes are some of the most popular masters programs. The fees vary depending on the university and course; UG degree; INR 35000-80000 per year; PG degree INR 40000-1.5 lakhs per year. Jagannath University Placements 2024
Jagannath University has a placement cell, which helps the students in getting a job. Some of the leading companies which are frequenting the campus for placements are Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro Technologies, Infosys, HCL Technologies, Accenture and many others. The recent placement offers given in campus interviews include the highest salary package of Rs 18 lakhs per annum by Microsoft. The average salary package offered by companies or organizations to the students is from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 6 lakh per annum. Of the batches undergoing placement, about 60 to 70 percent of eligible students get placed during the on-campus recruitment drive annually. It has been a rising pattern over the past few years because of university’s curriculum linked with industry and training facilities offered to students to equip them for employment. A majority of the students are placed in IT/software related jobs and the rest chooses core engineers, analyst, banking and research jobs in various organizations.
