JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) is a private university in Jaipur established in Rajasthan. It was set up in the year 2011 and it is still affiliated to the University Grant Commission (UGC) and recognized by the Government of Rajasthan. JKLU is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with grades ‘A’. As per the NIRF Rankings 2023, JKLU stands at 76th position in overall Private Universities in India.
Facilities of the university are aimed at providing quality education in a vast number of fields and levels such as undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in engineering and technology, management studies, commerce, basic sciences, computer applications, art and design, law, architecture, agriculture and pharmacy. Some of the popular courses offered at JKLU are- B.Tech, M.B.A, B.B.A, B.Com, B.Des, Integrated-Law etc. Admission process usually starts early January for the academic year that starts in July for all the courses offered in the university. Other standard tests namely JEE Mains, CAT, XAT.

1. Minimum of passing 10+2 or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. Science stream mandatory for engineering and technology courses.
2. As appropriate: Passed in the relevant entrance examination such as for the BTech programme through JEE Main, LLB programme through CLAT etc.
3. Minimum 50% for IELTS or TOEFL certification for international students.
4. No age limit. All students including the students from India as well as international students can apply.
5. To get admission in the university, one has to pass the university’s qualifying written test besides personal interview round test.

JK Lakshmipat University has always maintained a good record in campus placements where placement rate has been over 90% every year. Some of the big name companies that hire candidates from this stream are Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini and Tech Mahindra. The highest salary offered for the year 2021 was 32 LPA which was offered by Microsoft. The salary per annum of student in average levels varies between Rs. 6-8 lakhs. Other companies which recruit candidates are ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Idea Cellular, Havells offering packages varying between 4 lakh and 8 lakh. Due to its industry-focused approach and focus on skill development amongst its students, JKLU has been able to attract more employers and hence better placement figures year by year.
