Kamdhenu University is situated in Gandhinagar capital of Gujarat and this university was established in the year 2009. The BPH is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has a B++ accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). In the NIRF rankings of the year 2023 Kamdhenu University has been placed in the category of Universities under the 101-150 rank. These range from various programs in agriculture, veterinary, dairy technology and food processing among others. The university occupies 112 acres of land and has infrastructure that are congenial for teaching and learning processes.
