Belagavi’s KLE University was formerly called KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research which has been granted the deemed university status. It was established in 2016 and got accredited by UGC and was approved by All India Council for Technical Education AICTE. KLE University has also received grade ‘A’ accreditation by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.31. According to the NIRF ranking of 2023 it was ranked 76 among the university in India.

KLE University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Completed his/her 10+2 or equivalent exam with least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam (60% for MBBS). To gain admission to some of the programs, the student is expected to pursue science stream.
2. Successful completion of appropriate entrance tests such as NEET, KLEU-AIET, JEE Main depending on the program of the choice.
3. Students from CBSE ICSE, STATE AND ANY OTHER BOARDS ARE ALSO eligible for this course if they will fulfill these basic requirements.
4. There are no restrictions imposed on any age of a person for admission to any of its programs. There are no restrictions regarding the type of students; Indian students as well as the international students can apply for these scholarships.
