Maharishi Markandeshwar University Sadopur Campus is a private university located at Sadopur, Ambala , Haryana, India. It was set up in 1997 and has been listed in the UGC list of Universities besides being approved by AICTE. The university is NAAC Grade A certified, and as per NIRF 2023 ranking, it has ranked 101-150 among all the universities of the country. The campus in Sadopur offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies in various disciplines, thus following a comprehensive educational model while emphasizing skill building and innovation.
The university has a wide array of programs that is offered in different fields such as engineering, management, commerce, computer applications, pharmacy and several others. Demands for well-known courses are B Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, B Pharma and so on. It is done in accordance with university calendars, normally in April/MAY and November/December for every year. The online registration for the admission of the 2024 batch is expected to start in March/April 2023. Maharishi Markandeshwar sadopur Campus Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For BTech programs, the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum 50% marks throughout (45% for SC/ST candidates).
2. For MTech programs, the candidate must have passed B Tech/ B E in the relevant branch with minimum 50% of marks for the open category and 45% for the SC/ST category from a recognized university.
3. For MBBS, candidates must have had 10+2 or equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST) and NEET entrance test cut-off percentile.
4. To be eligible for BDS, the candidates must complete their PCB in 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% marks for the GEN/OBC category and 40% for SC/ST categories and qualifying percentile in NEET.
5. For BPharma, it is mandatory that the candidate should have completed his 10+2 or equivalent examination with aggregate 50 % marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST only) from any recognized board.
6. For the MPharma programs admission, the candidate must have a BPharma degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) from recognized university PCI/AICTE recognized university.
