The Mahatma Gandhi Central University Motihari offers the following faculties for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level mentioned below: There are different faculties like Science, Arts, Commerce, Law and the respective departments of the University have the right to set the eligibility criteria. To get into BA programs, one has to clear 12th standard in any stream with at least 50% of marks. BCom admission criteria are 12 pass in any stream with minimum 45% marks. The eligibility criteria for BSc programs includes 12th Science stream pass with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology along with minimum 60% aggregate marks. The only acceptable qualifying tests are Intermediate/Higher Secondary or their equivalent examinations from any state/national education board.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Photo I’d proof like Aadhaar card, voter ID card, driving license, or passport for the identification of the person and to check the age of the person.
2. Class 10th certificate and marksheet with the mention of date of birth and other subjects learnt.
3. Certified true copy of the certificate and mark-sheet of 12th class showing the subjects studied and the marks obtained. This define people’s qualification for certain programs.
4. Original and certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts for the previous course if applying for the subsequent level of education such as postgraduate. This affirms prior qualification, which makes the subject eligible in this case.
5. The reserved category students to get quotas for which they are supposed to produce their caste certificate.
6. Other document like, migration certificate, gap affidavit for the students transferring from other universities or boards and gaps in education.
1. If a candidate wishes to get admission in any particular UG or PG course he/she must fill the admission form online or offline before the due date.
2. Check the Admission Criteria – UG candidates with 10+2, PG candidates with a graduation degree and minimum marks. Reservation criteria for categories.
3. Take the entrance test if any or direct admission on merits of the candidate.
4. Session counseling, select course and college based on merit and seat availability. Pay for the fee to confirm his or her admission.
5. Upload documents – mark sheets of 10th/12th, graduation certificate, category certificate, migration certificate.
6. Complete the admission formalities and get registered, obtain identification card, and can join the class after that. Compliance with all the rules and regulations.

6. Counseling and admission - The candidates who qualify are further called for counseling in order of merit, here the documents produced are verified and then the candidates are enrolled.
