Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) is a University established in the state of Kerala in India situated in the city of Kottayam. It is an institution of learning which was founded in the year 1983 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with ‘A’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). MGU was positioned in the 101-150 band among universities in India as per NIRF in 2024.
It provides more than 300 programmes in diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels in the fields of arts, science, education, social work, commerce & business administration and engineering. Some of the popular courses are offered at the level of BTech MTech MSc MA MBA MCA. semester examinations are usually held every between the months of October/November-April/May of every year. The admission process starts in May for the session which starts in June. The fill up forms are submitted online accompanied by eligibility certificates and qualifying exam mark sheets.
