MGM University Aurangabad is one of the self-financed private universities in the state of Maharashtra situated in Aurangabad. It was founded in the year 2019. The university is accredited with the Grade A certification from NAAC and as per the NIRF 2023 rankings, the university stands at rank 101-150 in India . Spearheaded across a vast area, MGM University has all the essential amenities and facilities for students. It currently has more than 2500 students completing undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs through its four schools and one constituent college. It should be noted that the programs provided include some of the newest fields in science and technology including data science, cyber security, AI & machine learning, blockchain, etc.
UG, PG, and doctoral programs available at the university are in the realm of engineering, pharmacy, business administration, computer applications, journalism, architecture, applied sciences, design and many other. They have a separate intake system where students have to appear for national or state level entrance tests such as MHTCET, JEE Main, CAT, NPAT, GPAT, CMAT etc Admissions schedule for 2024 batch is yet to be released on official website of the university. The details of the admission process include online registration, uploading of documents, entrance test, and Personal Interview.
MGM University has tie-ups with more than 160+ companies for the placements of students, irrespective of the industries. Some of the major recruiters which are participating in MGM University are Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and L&T. The Toppers in the 2023 placement crossed the 42 LPA while the Median was 6 LPA. In the placement, more than 86% of the total students were placed in reputed firms.

MGM University Placements 2024
MGM University Aurangabad has a record of providing a good placement for all the students for many years. The leading recruiters include Tata Consultancy Services (TCS ), Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini among others. The maximum number of offers made in the year 2023 was for the role of Software Developer with an annual package of 32 LPA offered by Microsoft. For freshers the average salary package offered was about 6.5 LPA. It is a matter of great pleasure to mention that more than 85% of the students have got placed across the discipline of Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and Management etc. Some of the prominent recruiting firms were TCS which was the most active recruiter followed by accenture, L&T Infotech and Infosys among others.
