The MGM University of Health Sciences is a private university established in Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra. This university was established in the year 1982 and has been able to expand faster and become one of the most renowned health science universities in India. The university has been granted Grade A by NAAC and it is one of the UGC recognised Universities. In the NIRF rankings, 2023 it has been placed at 76nd position in the entire country among the universities. This institution provides professional training in the fields of health sciences such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy and physiotherapy.
The various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the university are in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Public Health, Hospital Administration and many more. Some of the key programs that are offered by the college include MBBS, BDS,M.D., M.S., M.D.S., B.Sc. Nursing, M.Pharm, BPT and MHA. Most of the programmes offered by the university are spread over a semester system. The end of semester tests are usually administered to the learners. Most of the UG programs admit students through a competitive score in specific entrance tests, for example, NEET UG Admission to most of the PG programs is based on the performance of the entrance tests, academic & work experience. Admission processes are normally carried out in April for the academic session, which begins in August of the same year.
