Motherhood University (MU) Roorkee provides numerous programs under various disciplines such as engineering, management, science, arts, law, agriculture, etc. The essential conditions for entry do differ from course to course. For the B.Tech courses in civil, mechanical, CSE – Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in PCM subjects (45% for SC/ST category). For BBALLB, it is mandatory to pass 12th standard with 45% marks. Various B.A courses which are History, Psychology, Sociology takes any stream of 12th standard with minimum 50% marks. For BBA/MBA, the graduation degree is required, and the applicant should have secured 50% of the marks. The entrance and eligibility tests accepted for admission to MU’s BTech programs includes JEE, UPSEE; for Law programs – CLAT and AILET; for Agriculture – ICAR; for Sciences/ Arts/ Commerce – Bachelor degrees – merit-based.
It is proposed to organize all the MU UG/PG admissions for the academic year 2024 in the following manner. Up-Gradation: Almost all the Bachelor degree courses have planned to conduct UPSEE 2024 exam from April end to 1st week of May 2024. BTech, BPharm, and agriculture courses are to produce results by June 2024. For the sciences/arts/commerce bachelor courses, admission forms will be made available from May, 2024; selection to be made according to the merit list which will be formed on the basis of the percentile scores obtained by the students in the relevant subjects of the 12th standard. MBA/PG courses admission test will be conducted in the month of July 2024 with UPSEE/CMAT/CAT; declaration of results to be by August 2024.
