NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad is one of the premier national law universities situated in Shamirpet, Medchal district, Telangana. It was established in the year 1998 and is approved by Bar Council of India and acknowledged by the University Grants Commission. NALSAR has been duly accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and has been given A+ Grade. As per NIRF Rankings 2023 for law colleges, NALSAR ranks 2nd all over India.
NALSAR provides a range of law courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the highly sought after integrated 5-year BA LLB (Hons.) program. There are other one-year long programs such as LLM and MBA in Business Laws & Corporate Affairs. The admission process for the BA LLB programme for the batch of 2024-2029 should ideally start from around May 2024. The admission procedures are by taking the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) and then the students undergo group discussions and interviews.
The placement cell at NALSAR helps the students get placed in law firms, corporate legal departments, litigation, consulting, and policy research.
